Job summary

The Summit at Germantown in Tennessee is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our resident-centered wellness team. This part-time position covers every other weekend night shifts from 7:00pm to 7:00am, with PRN availability across shifts as needed.

You will supervise RCAs and MTs, administer meds per physician orders, document accurately, and ensure safety in line with policies. A nursing license, English proficiency, and at least two years of experience are required;

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Must be a licensed nurse in state where you work.
• Minimum of two years nursing experience.
• Ability to read, write, and speak in English.
• Experience in an Assisted Living setting preferred. Dementia care experience preferred.
• Be in good physical health and able to lift 40 pounds.
• Drug testing and criminal background check upon hire and upon request of supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Plans and delegates work assignments ensuring shift coverage and coordinates care.
• Participates in and supervises delivery of resident care.
• Administers medications according to physician orders and documents on MAR.
• Acts as shift team leader, coaching RCAs/MTs and enforcing policies.
• Maintains professional demeanor with residents and families.
• Reports safety concerns and incidents promptly to Wellness Director.
