Job summary

Wellstar Cobb in Austell, Georgia is seeking a FT Weekend Night CT Technologist to join a collaborative care team. You will perform CT exams, ensure high-quality imaging, and uphold patient safety throughout all procedures. The role requires ARRT certifications, BLS, and at least 1 year in Radiology.

Education includes a High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Schedule includes Saturday, Sunday and Monday nights with shift differential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) and ARRT-CT certifications required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and apply ALARA principles.
• Document exams accurately in RIS/PACS and verify orders and patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures to patients, address questions, and ensure comfort and safety.
• Assist with equipment maintenance, room turnover, and infection control schedules.
