Job summary

Wellstar Cobb in Austell, Georgia is seeking a FT Weekend Night CT Technologist. Technologists are essential members of a collaborative care team, performing CT procedures, maintaining dose optimization, and ensuring patient comfort. The role includes shift differential incentives and a Saturday-Sunday-Monday 7:00 pm–7:30 am schedule.

Required qualifications include ARRT-CT and ARRT-R radiography, plus BLS. Education requires a Radiologic Technology program completion.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT-CT certification
• BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines and maintain ALARA doses.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and ensure diagnostic image quality.
• Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Review images and finalize studies in RIS/PACS; report any issues to supervision.
