Job summary

Wellstar Cobb in Austell, Georgia seeks a full-time Weekend Night CT Technologist to join a collaborative radiology team. You will perform CT exams with attention to diagnostic quality while maintaining ALARA doses and patient safety.

The role requires ARRT-R and ARRT-CT credentials, a radiologic technology program, and at least 1 year of radiology experience. Weekend nights include a schedule of seven days on, with a sign-on and comprehensive Wellstar benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification required.
• ARRT-CT certification required; BLS from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines to obtain quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and apply ALARA principles.
• Prepare and disinfect rooms and equipment according to infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and identify patients prior to exams.
• Explain procedures and prep to patients and minimize anxiety.
• Document exams accurately and finalize in RIS/PACS, including transfers.
