SSA Group is hiring a Food Service Cook at the Louisville Zoo in Louisville, KY. This role covers weekend night shifts (Thursday–Sunday) from late September to late October, with an average around 24 hours weekly in a fast-paced environment.

The team focuses on hospitality, safety, and guest experience, requiring flexibility, teamwork, and the ability to handle varying duties, including dishwashing and prep support.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Exceptional problem solving/decision making skills with organizational ability.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Ideal candidate is a team player, personable, professional, upbeat and energetic, and takes initiative.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift 10–35 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Live out 452 Hospitality by delivering warm, welcoming experiences for guests.
• Support restaurant prep (BOH and line) for daily operation.
• Meet daily quickservice, safety and quality standards.
• Ensure proper food quantities for daily service.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Follow SSA policies and SSAFETY rules.
