Job summary

The St. Louis Zoo is seeking a part-time Catering/Food Service Utility/Dishwasher to join our catering and food service teams. This role involves washing dishes, assisting with prep and storage organization, and supporting events across Zoo locations in Saint Louis, MO.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, restaurant/kitchen experience, and familiarity with basic food safety. Flexibility for weekdays, weekends, nights, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Working experience in a restaurant/kitchen required.
• Familiarity with basic fundamentals of food safety and sanitation required.
• Prior customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist dishwashing across catering and events.
• Organize food and beverage storage areas.
• Assist with prep work for catering activities.
• Wash dishes at various Zoo locations.
• Clean kitchen and restaurant areas.
• Work on the front line and minor maintenance projects.
• Assist Catering Manager with other tasks as assigned.
