New Vista Behavioral Health is seeking a Call Center Coordinator for weekend night shifts to serve as the central contact for patients, referral sources, facilities, and clinical teams outside weekday hours. You will manage calls, coordinate referrals and admissions, and support on‑call leadership with timely follow‑through.

This role requires calm, professional communication, HIPAA compliance, and accurate EMR documentation.

Qualifications

• High-volume telephone experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently during weekend and overnight operations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as weekend point of contact for calls, referrals, inquiries, and operational communications.
• Route calls from patients, families, hospitals, and referral sources appropriately.
• Coordinate behavioral health referrals and relay information to clinical/admissions teams.
• Communicate with on-call psychiatrists/NPs, nursing leadership, and admissions staff.
• Provide timely updates on admissions, transfers, bed availability, and dispositions.
• Document referral information accurately in EMR/tracking systems.
• Monitor pending referrals and callbacks to ensure follow-up.
• Escalate urgent clinical or safety concerns per policy.
• Maintain clear documentation of calls, referrals, and actions taken.
