Job summary

The Draftsman, Autograph Collection in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Night Auditor to balance nightly financials and manage guest needs during overnight hours. This role combines accounting precision with frontline guest service, operating Friday and Saturday nights from 11:00 P.M. to 7:00 A.M.

and involving holiday coverage as needed. Hourly wage range is $19.00–$20.00, with benefits including health and retirement plans, paid time off, and room discounts.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel front desk or night audit experience preferred.
• Familiarity with property management systems.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work overnight and weekends/holidays.
• Accurate cash handling and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Represent the hotel as Manager on Duty during the overnight shift.
• Post daily room and outstanding charges; balance revenue totals.
• Handle the hotel phone system, transfers, and guest messages.
• Check in/out guests according to brand standards.
• Notify housekeeping and maintenance of issues with guestrooms and hotel grounds.
• Prepare required reports and daily income & F&B reports.
