Job summary

The Draftsman, Charlottesville, Autograph Collection is seeking a Front Desk Agent who will welcome guests, manage check-in/check-out, handle payments, and provide local insights to ensure a smooth and memorable stay.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in and out of the hotel according to hotel and brand standards.
• Inform guests about the hotel’s facilities, policies and procedures; provide local information.
• Handle hotel phone system; transfer calls and take messages.
• Take, modify and cancel guestroom reservations.
• Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and special arrangements; coordinate with departments to fulfill needs.
• Perform cashier duties and post charges to guest accounts.
• Notify housekeeping/maintenance of issues; ensure security procedures are followed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the Front Office area.
