Job summary

Fairview Health Services is seeking an MRI Technologist to join the imaging team at Lakes Medical Center in Wyoming, MN. This .9 FTE Baylor position works Saturdays and Sundays from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM, with a sign-on bonus prorated by experience.

The role involves independent MRI procedures, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to MRI standards. The successful candidate will collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals to deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• ARRT registration is required.
• Basic Life Support certification required on hire.
• Advanced MRI certification within 18 months is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and prioritizes workflow to support safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
• Provides compassionate patient care throughout the imaging experience.
• Performs high-quality MRI examinations according to established protocols.
• Verifies patient identification, imaging orders, and required documentation.
• Educates patients and families regarding exam procedures and expectations.
• Communicates effectively with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.

ARRT Registration

Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)

Advanced Certification in MRI within 1-1/2 Years
