Job summary

Mercyhealth seeks an experienced MRI Technologist to perform advanced MR imaging with emphasis on patient safety and comfort. You will operate MRI equipment, administer contrast, and collaborate with radiologists to support accurate diagnosis.

Role includes maintaining safety standards, mentoring students and staff, and supporting interventional procedures as needed. A sign-on bonus is available and Mercyhealth offers competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program or accredited MRI training program.
• Minimum 1 to 3 years experience preferred; will consider new graduates.
• ARRT MR certification required upon hire or ARRT with MR pathway and MR credential within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI procedures under physician order for diagnostic interpretation.
• Prepares patients for procedures and ensures comfort.
• Maintains MRI safety practices and manages Zone I-IV access.
• Operates MRI system and related equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Documents all MRI procedures in medical records and PACS.
• Provides instruction to students and colleagues; assists with interventional procedures.
