Job summary

Fairview Health Services is seeking an MRI Technologist to join the imaging team at the M Health Clinic and Surgery Center in Minneapolis, MN. This is a 0.2 FTE position working every other weekend (Sat/Sun) from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with responsibilities in producing diagnostic MRI images and supporting patient care.

The role requires ARRT Certification and Basic Life Support, with preferred MRI experience and certification within 18 months.

Qualifications

• ARRT Certification is required.
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc. or Red Cross) required.
• One year of experience preferred.
• MRI Safety Screen requirements may apply.
• MRI Certification within 1–1.5 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains patient care.
• Performs examinations.
• Identifies relevant data from images accurately.
• Communicates pertinent data clearly to health care professionals.
• Ensures patient safety and emergency preparedness.
• Documents patient information.
• Accurate film marking and jacket preparation.
• Achieves quality diagnostic images through correct positioning and equipment use.
• Performs training and education duties.
• Participates in orientation of new employees.
• Trains students and healthcare professionals.
