Job summary

Mercyhealth in Wisconsin seeks an MRI technologist to operate MRI, administer contrast, and ensure safety. This role involves three 12-hour shifts on Fri–Sun, 7am–7pm, with a sign-on bonus.

You will prepare patients, ensure high-quality images, and document in the EMR. Collaboration with radiologists and physicians is key, with opportunities to mentor students and team members. ARRT MR (or MR pathway) and CPR/BLS are required within timelines. New grads considered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiography or MRI program.
• 1–3 years experience preferred; new grads considered.
• ARRT MR credential or ARRT with MR pathway within 2 years; ARMRIT if needed.
• CPR/BLS certification required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanner and related equipment to acquire diagnostic images.
• Ensure MRI safety and patient comfort throughout procedures.
• Prepare patients and administer contrast agents when indicated.
• Document procedures in EMR and coordinate with radiologists.
• Assist interventional procedures and supervise students as assigned.
• Maintain image quality and safety records; participate in quality improvement.
