Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Weekend Program MRI Technologist for Aurora St. Luke’s. The role offers a 36-hour weekend schedule (Saturday, Sunday, Monday 8am–8:30pm) with a competitive pay range and full benefits from day one.

The technologist will operate MRI equipment across diverse exams in a high‑performing team environment. You will collaborate with experienced staff, contribute to patient care, and participate in ongoing professional development within a state‑of‑the‑art imaging center.

Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond high school in Radiologic Technology.
• MRI certification by CAMRT/ARMRIT or ARRT eligible within 2 years.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification within 6 months where required.

Responsibilities

• Operates MRI equipment for basic and intermediate diagnostic procedures.
• Obtains history and prepares/ administers contrast under Radiologist guidance.
• Positions patients and optimizes scanning parameters for quality images.
• Post-processes images and labels files accurately.
• Maintains records and documents billing codes in the radiology system.
