Job summary

Advocate Health is hiring a Weekend Program MRI Technologist at Aurora St. Luke’s. The role involves working in a high‑performing MRI environment with 36 hours per week across Saturday, Sunday, and Monday shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM.

Qualifications

Advanced training beyond High School that includes the completion of an accredited or approved program in Radiologic Technology.
No experience required.
MRI certifications and ARRT/ARMRIT registrations as listed.

Responsibilities

Operates MR equipment to perform basic and intermediate diagnostic imaging.
Obtains medical history, reviews requisitions, and administers contrast under Radiologist supervision.
Positions patient and selects scanning factors, ensures safety and magnet protection.
Post-processes images and labels images with patient info and location.
Maintains radiology records and documents billing codes for charges.
Performs QA tests and evaluates new products and equipment.
Assists with patient handling and lifting within safety guidelines.
Provides age-appropriate care and follows department policies.
