Job summary

Aurora St. Luke’s Health is seeking a Weekend Program MRI Technologist to join a high‑performing MRI team.

This 32‑hour/week role offers Friday 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM, Saturday 8:30 PM – Sunday 8:30 AM, and Sunday 8:30 PM – Monday 8:30 AM, with a competitive pay range and full benefits. You will perform a wide range of advanced MRI exams across cardiac, neuro, body and MSK, maintain safety, assist radiologists, and ensure accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond high school in Radiologic Technology.
• No experience required.
• MRI certification (CAMRT/ARMRIT) or ARRT RT, with ARRT MRI within 2 years; BLS within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Operate MR equipment for basic and intermediate diagnostic procedures.
• Obtain patient history and prepare/administer contrast under radiologist guidance.
• Position patient and adjust scanning factors; ensure safety and magnet protection.
• Post-process images and label with patient details.
• Maintain records and enter data into the radiology information system; document billing codes.
• Identify equipment issues and perform QA tests; assist with patient positioning and lifting as needed.
