Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC in Belleville, IL, seeks a Part-Time MRI Radiology Advanced Modality Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI studies on adults and children, prepare patients and equipment, and ensure quality across imaging sites.

The ideal candidate holds RT(R) and/or MR certification, with 2+ years MRI experience, and is willing to work weekends with on-call coverage; on-site role with benefits and sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Certified RT(R) and/or MR required.
• 2+ years MRI technologist experience preferred.
• Licenses/certifications include IEMA (excl MRI), RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES.
• CPR and IV therapy preferred.
• Part-time position (24 hours/week) with benefits.

Job description

This position is for a Part-Time MRI Radiology Advanced Modality Technologist specializing in imaging, primarily performing diagnostic MRI procedures on adult and pediatric patients. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, executing studies independently, and ensuring quality control across multiple imaging sites, including the main orthopedic and neurosciences center.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in advanced modalities such as MRI, CT, or other specified areas.
• Prepare patients and equipment for imaging studies.
• Conduct studies independently, including on-call, portable exams, and coverage at different sites.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or MR.
• Associate’s Degree or Trade School equivalency.
• Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience preferred, with knowledge of MRI equipment and procedures.
• Required licenses/certifications include IEMA (excluding MRI), RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES.
• Preferred certifications include CPR and IV Therapy.
• Part-Time position (24 hours/week), benefits eligible.
• Weekend shift includes Saturday and Sunday from 6 am to 6:30 pm, with a 50% premium pay for weekend hours.
• Sign-on bonus available for eligible candidates.
