Job summary

Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital is hiring a MR Patient Coordinator for weekend days, 16 hours, Saturday and Sunday, 6:00am–2:30pm. You will support the MR workflow by scheduling Emergency and Inpatient MR scans, answering phones, preparing patients, and screening calls under the supervision of the MR supervisor and Radiology leadership.

The role requires proficient use of EPIC EMR, attention to safety, and strong teamwork to maintain quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Education: HS diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• No substitution of experience for education.
• MS Office knowledge is preferred.
• Experience with EPIC EMR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in MR workflow by scheduling scans and coordinating with providers.
• Answer phones, screen, and transfer calls as needed.
• Enter orders and patient data into EPIC; ensure required documentation.
• Ensure MR safety screening and insurance prior authorizations are in place.
• Assist with MR room turnover and patient transport.
