Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Weekend Days, Part Time 16 hours MR Patient Coordinator at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital. You will support MR workflow, scheduling emergencies, and patient preparation under supervision, using EPIC EMR to assist with history, labs, allergies and documentation.

The role requires multitasking, strong teamwork, and proficient MS Office use, with a focus on safe patient care and efficient operations in radiology.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in MR scheduling and workflow.
• Handle phone calls and patient screening.
• Schedule same-day add-ons, ED and inpatient MR requests.
• Proficient use of EPIC EMR for history, labs and allergies.
• Assist in MR room turnover and patient transport.
• Coordinate with radiologists and providers as needed.
• Review MR orders and ensure all required documentation.
• Obtain prior authorizations as necessary.
• Support safe patient transfer and MR safety screening.
