Job summary

Trident Care is seeking a Phlebotomist Driver in Texas. You will drive to client facilities, typically nursing homes, and bring phlebotomy supplies to patient bedside to collect samples ordered by a physician.

Responsibilities include accurate patient identification, proper labeling and delivery of specimens, maintaining sterile conditions, and reporting status to dispatch. Requires valid phlebotomy licensure and a valid driver’s license with a reliable vehicle.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Current state phlebotomy license, if applicable.
• Valid state driver’s license with car insurance and clean record.
• 2+ years of driving experience.
• Proficient in venipuncture and skin puncture techniques.
• Knowledge of laboratory operations and sterile practices.

Responsibilities

• Drives to client facilities, typically nursing homes, as directed.
• Unloads and delivers phlebotomy supplies; collects samples at bedside.
• Identifies patient accurately before collection and labels specimens.
• Delivers specimens promptly and maintains equipment readiness.
• Keeps dispatcher informed of status and location.
• Adheres to Universal Precautions and health requirements.
