Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Nurse Practitioners to join as independent contractors for weekend coverage in Massachusetts, with some weekday shifts under the Reserve Health Readiness Program, serving various military installations.

Responsibilities include supporting physical health assessments, reviewing medical histories, interviewing service members, and identifying urgent concerns (including behavioral health). Documentation is in the service member's medical record using our proprietary system.

Qualifications

• Active NP license in MA
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Experience with Primary Care/Urgent Care/Occupational Health (preferred)
• Experience with mobile medical services (preferred)
• Knowledge of military systems, protocols and terminology (preferred)
• Adaptable to fast-paced environments with high patient volume
• Able to work extended hours and travel to remote installations

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify any concerns that need immediate attention, including Behavioral Health.
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using the proprietary system.
