Job summary

DOCS Health seeks licensed Nurse Practitioners to join as independent contractors, delivering health readiness assessments and primary care support to military service members in Massachusetts.

Focus is on weekend coverage with occasional weekday shifts under the Reserve Health Readiness Program. Flexibility to travel to various locations, including remote installations, is required; licensing, CPR/BLS and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Active NP license in the state of Massachusetts or eligible to practice
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Excellent communication and interviewing skills with military personnel
• Experience in primary care, urgent care or occupational health preferred

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview service members to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using the proprietary system.
