DOCS Health is seeking Nurse Practitioners to partner as independent contractors to support military service members. The role focuses on weekend availability with some weekday opportunities under RHRP in West Virginia, serving USAR, ARNG, USNR, MARFORRES, USCGR, ANG, and USAFR.

You will perform health assessments, review medical histories, interview service members, identify urgent concerns, and document findings in the medical records system.

Qualifications

• Active NP license in the state
• CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health
• Experience with mobile medical services
• Knowledge of military systems, protocols, and terminology
• Willingness to travel; weekend availability
• Able to work in fast-paced environments and multiple locations (including remote installations)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Not required to diagnose, treat, or prescribe medications

Responsabilités

• Support physical health assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify any immediate concerns, including behavioral health considerations.
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using the proprietary system.
