Job summary

The Wenger Group in Pennsylvania is seeking a Mill Technician I to join our grain testing and feed ingredient addition team. You will assist in milling operations, perform DON testing, and record medication usage while learning about ingredient interactions and nutrition.

You will also help with inventory, equipment maintenance, and housekeeping to maintain a safe, efficient work environment. This role requires basic math, the ability to work independently or under supervision, and a commitment

Qualifications

• Understand and follow FSMA and SQF and state regulations.
• Basic math skills for measurements and recordings.
• Willingness to learn about ingredient interactions and milling processes.
• Capable of repetitive tasks and inventory handling.
• Lift up to 60 lbs repeatedly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Operate milling operations and perform grain testing (DON testing).
• Hand-add feed ingredients and record medication usage.
• Develop understanding of animal nutrition and milling interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the mill.
• Handle inventory management and provide basic administrative tasks.
• Navigate Laserfiche, Wenger System, and WEM as needed.
• Complete required training and support Mill Manager and Supervisors.
