Job summary

The Wenger Group is hiring a Mill Technician I to support grain testing and milling operations in our Pennsylvania facility. You will assist with ingredient additions, inventory control, and equipment maintenance while following safety and quality procedures.

You will learn to use Laserfiche, the Wenger System, and WEM, and you’ll contribute to a team that values reliability, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic math operations accurately.
• Commitment to following Food Safety Standards (FSMA/SQF) and state regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in grain testing and records.
• Ability to work in a team and promote a collaborative environment.
• Proficiency with basic computer tasks and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Perform grain testing (DON testing, moisture, dockage) and manual ingredient additions.
• Assist with inventory management and housekeeping of the mill.
• Operate and maintain production equipment per procedures.
• Learn and use Laserfiche, Wenger System and WEM for records and workflows.
• Participate in safety and training programs and adhere to company policies.
