Job summary

Cirrus in Duluth, MN is seeking a Directs and coordinates activities for assigned manufacturing areas. You will lead Production Supervisors, ensure safety and quality, train and retain staff, and drive improvements in cost and delivery.

The role focuses on lean manufacturing, process standards, and collaboration with engineering for new products, while maintaining data-driven visibility and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing or aerospace engineering, business administration, or related field with 7 years of related experience or equivalent leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicates company vision and organizational goals to assigned manufacturing area(s).
• Oversees safety standards and audits, correcting unsafe acts and conditions.
• Monitors performance, provides feedback, mentors and coaches staff, and conducts performance reviews.
• Leads 6S and standardizes working practices in the area.
• Drives continuous improvement, RCCA, and cost reductions.
• Coordinates with engineering on new product launches and production scheduling.
• Maintains production data; analyzes reports to prevent delays and minimize costs.
• Ensures on-time delivery with zero defects to internal customers.
