Job summary

Cirrus Aircraft in Duluth, MN is seeking a Manufacturing Leader to direct and coordinate activities in the assigned production area. You will supervise Production Technicians, Leads and Masters, drive safety, quality, and cost metrics, and deliver on-time delivery with zero defects to internal customers.

You will lead Lean manufacturing initiatives, monitor KPI performance (Safety, Quality, People, Delivery, Cost), and mentor teams through training, planning, and problem solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, aerospace engineering, business administration, or related field.
• 7+ years of related experience with minimum 2 years of leadership experience (or equivalent).
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Strong communication skills and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates activities of the assigned manufacturing areas.
• Oversees quality and safety and leads Production Supervisors.
• Mentors and coaching employees; conducts performance reviews.
• Leads Lean initiatives and 6S in the area.
• Drives KPI improvement (Safety, Quality, People, Delivery, Cost).
• Ensures timely production schedules and on-time delivery with zero defects.
