Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare in Flowood, MS is hiring a Mental Health Technician for weekend coverage (Fri-Mon) with Evening and Overnight shifts. The role supports patients with activities of daily living, monitors behavior, and may assist in crisis intervention within a multidisciplinary team.

The position emphasizes safety, therapeutic environment, and adherence to treatment plans; orientation is required and includes a full-week schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school graduate or equivalent.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Mental Health related field and two years of experience in the mental health field (psychiatric/inpatient or outpatient setting).

Responsibilities

• Supervises and assist patients with activities of daily living (ADL) (hygiene, meals, laundry) as needed.
• Actively supervise patients in all daily activities while documenting patients’ behaviors, conditions & progress in a manner prescribed by policy and clinical standards.
• Ensure programming is occurring according to schedule. Take and record vital signs, both manually and with equipment.
• Follow the therapeutic interventions outlined by the treatment team for each patient and maintain awareness of patient’s individualized plan of care including goals and intervention
