Job summary

Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare in Flowood, MS, is hiring Mental Health Technicians for a full-time weekend position (Fri–Mon). Shifts include Evening 3:00 PM–11:00 PM and Overnight 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, with up to $6.00/hr shift differential. A one-week orientation is required (Mon–Fri, 8 AM–5 PM).

The MHT will support patient care and participate in group activities within a psychiatric program. Minimum: high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in mental health field preferred.
• Two years of mental health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients, promoting safety and a therapeutic environment.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and crisis intervention as needed.
• Work with clinical staff to conduct groups and implement treatment plans.
• Record observations and progress per policy and standards.
