Job summary

Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a Mental Health Technician for a full-time weekend role. The position offers Evening (3:00 PM–11:00 PM) and Overnight (11:00 PM–7:00 AM) shifts with an additional differential of up to $6.00 per hour.

You will assist patients with daily living activities, monitor behaviors, record vital signs, and support the treatment team in crisis intervention and program delivery, ensuring safety and a therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school graduate or equivalent.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Mental Health related field and two years of experience in the mental health field (psychiatric/inpatient or outpatient setting).

Responsibilities

• Supervises and assists patients with activities of daily living (ADL) (hygiene, meals, laundry) as needed.
• Actively supervise patients in all daily activities while documenting patients’ behaviors, conditions & progress.
• Take and record vital signs, both manually and with equipment.
• Follow the therapeutic interventions outlined by the treatment team and maintain patient’s individualized plan of care.
