Job summary
People Incorporated Mental Health Services is seeking a part-time Mental Health Support Specialist to assist clients in our Residential Programs. The role requires on-site presence, weekend shifts (Saturdays and Sundays 7:00am-3:30pm), and administration of medications in line with program policies.
A $1,000 hiring bonus is available for external candidates. The successful candidate will document interactions in the EHR, engage clients using person-centered approaches, and participate in
Qualifications
- GED or High School Diploma required.
- Must be enrolled in a program pursuing a health or human services degree or have related experience.
- Must pass background check and screening as required for health care programs.
Responsibilities
- Must have physical presence onsite.
- Document interactions in the EHR or program records with clear communication.
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation to clients.
- Administer medications following policy and procedure.
- Engage clients through person-centered activities to support goals.
- Attend mandatory team meetings and participate in on-call rotation.
