Job summary

People Incorporated Mental Health Services in Apple Valley, MN seeks a Part-Time Mental Health Support Specialist for Foliage House to provide compassionate community-based care evenings and weekends. You will document client interactions in the EHR, administer medications as required, and support clients with daily living skills and crisis de-escalation while maintaining safety and professional standards.

Must meet Minnesota requirements, pass background checks, and enroll in a health/human

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma is required.
• Enrollment in a health/human services degree program or related experience preferred.
• 1 year of experience with the target population or as a certified peer specialist is advantageous.
• Compliance with Minnesota licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Must have physical presence onsite.
• Document interactions with clients in the EHR and other systems.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation.
• Assume medication administration duties per program policies.
• Support clients with daily living activities and goal attainment.
• Participate in mandatory team meetings and on-call rotations.
