Job summary

People Incorporated Mental Health Services is seeking a Part-Time Mental Health Support Specialist to provide care and support to clients at our Long-Term Residential Programs located at Scott House in Minneapolis, MN. The role includes overnight Friday and Saturday shifts with a $1 shift differential for evening and night hours.

Responsibilities include documenting interactions in the EHR, crisis intervention, and using person-centered approaches to help clients meet individual goals.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a program pursuing a bachelor’s or Associate of Arts degree in health or human services.
• One year of experience working with the target population served can be substituted for education.
• Certification as a peer specialist per Minnesota Statute may satisfy qualification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Document interactions with clients in the EHR or program records.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation when needed.
• Engage with clients using person-centered practices to support goals.
• Teach independent living skills related to treatment plans.
• Attend mandatory team meetings and participate in on‑call rotation if applicable.
