Job summary

The Madison Senior Living in Kansas City, MO is hiring a Weekend Warrior Memory Care Support Partner. This full-time role runs Sunday, Monday, Friday and Saturday from 6:00am to 2:00pm, with a pay range of $21.50–$28 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
• Positive and energetic attitude toward residents.
• Basic computer skills to print documents and enter information.
• Physically able to stand, walk, bend, kneel and stoop all day.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
• Able to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after a fall.
• Criminal background check clearance.

Responsibilities

• Advocate of Empathy: create human connection with residents during vulnerable moments.
• Patient Observer: learn residents' interests and abilities and craft engagement plans.
• Master of the Mise en Scène: set the stage for daily resident experiences.
• Life Partner: assist residents with daily activities from morning to night.
• Document resident care and changes in condition.
• Assist with orientation of memory care team members.
