Laukoa is seeking Medical Assistants to support NY Army National Guard PHAs on weekends with additional weekday events across New York. This part-time, as-needed role includes event administration, screening, patient flow, and medical readiness documentation, with compensation of $23.26 per hour plus travel expenses.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, current BLS/CPR, and medical assistant training or related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• Medical assistant training or prior medical/clinical support experience preferred.
• Experience obtaining height, weight, and blood pressure preferred.
• Ability to work at multiple sites across New York State and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Support Periodic Health Assessment (PHA) events for NYARNG Service Members.
• Perform basic administrative duties including check-in roster verification and event tracking.
• Assist with patient flow and ensure proper routing through PHA stations.
• Obtain and document height, weight, and blood pressure on SF600 forms.
• Support documentation of medical readiness findings and vision results when provided.
• Assist with processing PHASRP medical readiness packets and records.
