Job summary

Johnson Memorial Health in Franklin, IN is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Med/Surg unit with a weekend option. Qualifications

• Indiana RN licensure required.
• BLS or CPR for Healthcare Providers certification required.
• PALS certification required for pediatrics staff.
• BSN is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients on admission and set priorities by age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs.
• Reassess patients regularly to identify progress and needs for intervention.
• Administer timely nursing interventions and respond to emergencies.
• Document care and participate in discharge planning.
• Coordinate assignments and delegate tasks to care for unit needs.
• Support with orientation of new staff and quality improvement initiatives.
• Communicate professionally to patients, families, and staff; uphold hospital mission.
