Job summary

Columbus McKinnon is seeking a Mechanical Assembler in Menomonee Falls, WI to manage the ERP system for job work orders and inventory, and to assemble and wire mechanical parts to meet quality and delivery standards.

The role requires high school diploma or equivalent with 1–3 years' related experience; you'll work in a climate-controlled facility with weekend shift options and a 20/hr base pay plus a 10% shift premium.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and one to three years of related experience and/or training.
• Experience operating small hand and power tools, and soldering equipment.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and basic Windows Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Manages ERP system to track progression of job work orders and inventory transactions.
• Responsible for managing inventory levels and accurately entering data into ERP system.
• Review work orders to plan efficient production and minimize changeovers.
• Complete and maintain required paperwork and records.
• Perform quality inspections for coworkers and verify product checklists.
• Assemble and wire mechanical parts per work orders to meet specs and cost targets.
• Follow safety rules and maintain housekeeping standards.
