Job summary

EMT International is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Assembler in Hobart, WI. The role focuses on assembling mechanical components and subassemblies, reading blueprints, and ensuring quality throughout production. You will collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate can use hand and power tools, read assembly drawings, and maintain accurate documentation. Experience with ERP/MRP systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and work instructions.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• ERP/MRP experience (Epicor, SAP, Oracle, etc.) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies using hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and work instructions.
• Perform fitting, alignment, and adjustment of components.
• Inspect parts and assemblies to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain production and quality documentation.
• Support 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with packaging, crating, and other production-related tasks as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and keep a clean work area.
