Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor (LEVEL 3) to lead a union‑represented crew of 10–20 workers on weekend coverage (Thursday–Sunday), ensuring quality, schedule, and cost goals are met.

You will collaborate with engineering, quality, planning, maintenance, and ESH to execute core metrics and drive continuous improvement, shaping a high‑performing team that delivers mission‑critical production and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/education
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Leadership experience; interact with senior management, HR, and union leadership
• Demonstrated team-building and leadership skills
• Ability to obtain US Government-issued Secret Security Clearance (as required)

Responsibilities

• Supervise machining, assembly, weld, and painting of parts across multiple buildings.
• Manage performance assessments, work assignments, cross-training, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, planning, maintenance, and ESH to execute core metrics.
• Ensure customer requirements and business objectives are met.
• Drive continuous-improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
