Job summary

International Paper in Mount Carmel, PA is seeking an hourly maintenance technician for weekend shifts (Thu-Sun, 6am–3pm). You will safely maintain and repair production equipment, troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, and perform preventive maintenance on the line.

Candidates should read electrical blueprints, operate lifts, and document maintenance activities. We value safety, teamwork, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Electrical experience and ability to read blueprints are required.
• Hands-on maintenance in a high-speed manufacturing environment is expected.
• Ability to complete maintenance and electrical exams is required.

Responsibilities

• Safely maintain and repair equipment unsupervised
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems on packaging equipment
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on all production line equipment
• Repair pumps and motors
• Assist in installation of plant equipment
• Maintain records
• Operate PIT, Tugger and Aerial Lift
• Communicate effectively
• Follow instructions
