Job summary

International Paper seeks a Maintenance Technician Level 4 to safely maintain and repair packaging equipment on the Mount Carmel site. You will troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems and perform routine preventative maintenance on production line equipment.

This 2nd shift (3pm–11pm), full-time role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, strong electrical aptitude, ability to read electrical blueprints, and the capacity to work unsupervised while keeping detailed records.

Qualifications

• Electrical experience in a high-speed industrial manufacturing environment is required.
• Ability to read and understand electrical blueprints.
• Knowledge of AC/DC drives and related controls is expected.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with pumps and motors on production lines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely maintain and repair equipment unsupervised.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems on packaging equipment.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on all production line equipment.
• Repair pumps and motors.
• Assist in installation of plant equipment.
• Maintain records.
• Operate PIT, Tugger and Aerial Lift.
• Communicate effectively.
• Follow instructions.
