Job summary

Marvin is seeking a Weekend Maintenance Technician II to perform advanced maintenance and troubleshoot production equipment with minimal supervision. The role requires evaluating equipment, assisting with repairs, and training others while following safety protocols.

A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered. Responsibilities include documenting repairs in the EAM system, interpreting blueprints, operating mills/lathe, and basic welding.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in a related technical field strongly preferred.
• Minimum of three years of related maintenance experience and/or technical training required.
• Basic welding and fabrication skills; machining experience with mill and lathe preferred.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management software and Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Document repairs and preventive maintenance using the EAM system.
• Perform regular inspections and repairs on production equipment; assist in machine repairs and train others.
• Set up new equipment; troubleshoot using specialty tools and decide effective repair methods.
• Interpret blueprints and part drawings to perform maintenance tasks.
• Apply basic machining skills using a vertical mill and lathe; understand welding and fabrication.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment; provide feedback to supervisors and submit end-of-shift reports.
• Promote safety and integrity by following all safety protocols and training.
