Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician for a high-speed, billion-dollar food production facility in McDonough, GA. This weekend-shift role runs 6 PM–6 AM Fri, Sat, Sun, and Mon, offering strong pay, overtime opportunities, and a path to long‑term stability.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mixers, conveyors, motors, pumps, boilers, and PLCs, read schematics, and support safety and environmental programs while collaborating with production, refrigeration, and

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED required.
5+ years mechanical/electrical maintenance experience.
4+ years in manufacturing (food manufacturing/packaging preferred).
Experience with boiler/hot water systems.
Ability to interpret schematics, plans, and O&M manuals.
Physically able to lift 50 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant machinery.
Repair/replace control devices: switches, sensors, pushbuttons, contactors, motor starters.
Maintain oven components: burners, valves, bearings, scrapers.
Work on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical power systems.
Troubleshoot and repair Allen-Bradley PLCs.
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance.
Operate metalworking equipment: welders, drill press, grinders, sheet metal tools.
Monitor and record environmental conditions (e.g., wastewater measurements).
Collaborate with production, refrigeration, and warehouse teams.
Assist in developing SOPs and duty cycles for equipment maintenance.
Participate in plant safety, SQF2000, health, and environmental programs.
Support boiler and hot water systems maintenance.
