Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a high‑speed food production facility in McDonough, GA. The night shift runs 4 PM–4 AM on a 2‑on/2‑off/3‑on rotation, with opportunities to work with advanced equipment and a safety‑focused team.

Candidates bring 5+ years in mechanical/electrical maintenance and 4+ years in manufacturing, with PLC troubleshooting and Allen‑Bradley PLC experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical college or PLC cert preferred.
• 5+ years of mechanical/electrical maintenance experience.
• 4+ years in manufacturing, preferably food packaging.
• Experience with boiler/hot water systems and PLC troubleshooting.
• Ability to read schematics, plans, and O&M manuals.
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant machinery.
• Repair/replace control devices and sensors.
• Maintain oven components and other equipment.
• Work on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical power systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair Allen-Bradley PLCs.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance.
• Operate metalworking tools as needed.
• Monitor environmental conditions and support safety programs.
