Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1–2 years machining experience; Machine Technology certificate preferred.
  • Ability to read and comprehend verbal and written instructions in English.
  • Familiarity with mechanical drawings/blueprints including GDT.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Eligible to work in ITAR environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain flow of production parts into the assigned machine with supervision.
  • Unload parts, inspect for defects, and record findings.
  • Record metrics (weight, length, ID, OD, density) and maintain tools.
  • Monitor machine operation and report maintenance needs.
  • Record production information and keep work area clean and safe.
  • Use G/M codes at the controller to adjust when needed.
