Job summary

Kyocera International, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator for the weekend shift (Friday–Monday) at the Hendersonville, NC facility. You will prepare, inspect, and run parts through production machinery based on written instructions, collaborating with team leads to ensure quality and efficiency.

The role requires at least a high school diploma (GED accepted) and 1+ years in machining, with English literacy and basic math skills. Competitive pay and robust benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Basic math skills including fractions and decimals.
• Willingness to wear clean-room apparel (finger cots, masks, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Maintain a continuous and efficient flow of parts through assigned machines while monitoring operation, quality, and detail.
• Unload, inspect, and process ceramic and other components, identifying and documenting nonconforming materials.
• Record production metrics and maintain quality tools and documentation using basic computer systems.
• Monitor machine performance, perform routine checks every two hours, and report repair needs.
• Complete production documentation, including shift pass-downs, while keeping a clean, safe workspace.
