Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living in Topeka, KS, is seeking a part-time Weekend Life Enrichment Coordinator to support resident engagement. You will plan and facilitate activities that promote social interaction, well-being, and joy for residents, with a focus on Saturdays and Sundays 8:30 AM–4:30 PM.

You will work with the Life Enrichment Director and care teams to welcome new residents, assist in holiday events, and help document life stories and activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bus driving license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, web platforms, and electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and lead community activities and events.
• Introduce new residents and families to life enrichment programs.
• Assist with holiday decorations and event coordination.
• Contribute to Life Stories documentation and attendance records.
• Communicate effectively with families and staff about residents' wellbeing.
