Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Nashville, TN seeks a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join a skilled nursing team. The candidate should be licensed in the state, capable of independent evaluation and treatment, and passionate about geriatric care.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, initiating therapies, documenting care, and participating in IDT meetings. Experience with tracheostomy and long-term care settings is preferred; expectations include adherence to

Qualifications

Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program and licensed as RRT or CRT.
Current state license and BLS certification.

Responsabilités

Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques to maintain and progress rehab patients.
Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate, check, and assemble equipment.
Complete a variety of bedside treatments.
Complete in-services for nursing staff every quarter.
Responsible for completing daily, weekly and monthly documentation.
Attend applicable IDT meetings.
Experience with tracheotomy.
Experience is a long term care setting.
Follow procedure and protocol of facility.
Completes tracking, auditing and caseload management.
