West Star Aviation Inc. is hiring a Falcon Lead, Aircraft Maintenance for a weekend shift in Grand Junction, CO. The role focuses on leading technicians to deliver high-quality results, with a strong emphasis on safety, reliability, and timely project completion.

The position requires 8+ years in aviation maintenance, an A&P license, and the ability to supervise multiple projects while maintaining FAA compliance. Benefits start on day one, including medical, dental, 401K match and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• A High school diploma or equivalent and Airframe and Powerplant License are required.
• Driver's license is ideal but not mandatory.
• Aircraft factory training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to complete jobs with good judgment and schedule awareness.
• Train and mentor technicians assigned to projects.
• Supervise team members in daily workload and safety compliance.
• Perform general mechanical functions on aircraft and related systems.
• Troubleshoot and evaluate systems on the aircraft as designated.
• Complete inspection, FAA paperwork and project handoffs on time.
• Communicate clearly in English and coordinate with customers.
