Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an IT Network Infrastructure Technician for the weekend shift in Cape Canaveral, FL. You will install, test, and maintain fiber and copper cabling, network and telephony systems to support launch and landing operations.

Responsibilities include wiring, testing, labeling, and documenting fiber, network, audio, video, and RF cabling; building out telecom rooms and equipment racks; and collaborating with the team to diagnose issues from test data.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 2+ years installing, testing, and repairing fiber optics, copper cabling, network, telephony, and A/V systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, test, troubleshoot, and document fiber and copper cabling and related equipment.
• Install, test, and document audio, video, and RF systems.
• Build telecom rooms and equipment racks.
• Read planning documents and schematics to support deployments.
• Collaborate with team to diagnose failures from test data.
